dotycząca udziału Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej

Preambuła

Sygnatariusze Porozumienia EUROPA z jednej strony i Rząd Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej reprezentowany przez Ministra Obrony Narodowej z drugiej strony,

mając na uwadze:

– rozdział XI „Przyjęcie nowych członków” Porozumienia EUROPA, podpisanego w Brukseli dnia 15 maja 2001 r.;

– stanowcze zainteresowanie wyrażone przez Polskę uczestnictwem we współpracy w zakresie badań naukowych i technologii (R&T) w ramach Porozumienia EUROPA;

osiągnęli następujące porozumienie:

Rozdział l

1. Po podpisaniu niniejszej poprawki. Rzeczpospolita Polska stanie się członkiem Porozumienia EUROPA.

2. Porozumienie EUROPA zostaje poprawione, jak następuje: na stronie tytułowej i w preambule, w pierwszym ustępie wprowadza się wyrazy: „Rząd Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej reprezentowany przez Ministra Obrony Narodowej” po wyrazach „Minister Obrony Królestwa Norwegii”.

Rozdział II

1. Poprawka ta wejdzie w życie w dniu złożenia poniżej ostatniego podpisu. Będzie ona ważna przez taki sam okres jak porozumienie, którego dotyczy. Inne postanowienia tego porozumienia niezmienione tą poprawką pozostają niezmienione.

2. Poprawka ta jest podpisana w dwóch egzemplarzach (w języku angielskim i francuskim), każdy tekst jest jednakowo ważny. Teksty oryginalne będą przechowywane przez Komórkę Badawczą Zachodnioeuropejskiej Organizacji ds. Uzbrojenia (WEAO) dla potwierdzenia prawdziwości kopii, które będą rozesłane do wszystkich Uczestników.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

concerning European Understandings for Research Organisation, Programmes and Activities (EUROPA)

AMENDMENT No 1

among the Government of the Republic of Austria represented by the Federal Minister of Defence, the Minister of National Defence of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Finland, the Minister of Defence of the French Republic, the Federal Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Minister of Defence of the Hellenic Republic, the Government of the Republic of Hungary represented by the Minister of Defence, the Minister of Defence of the Italian Republic, the Minister of Defence of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway, the Government of the Republic of Poland represented by the Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Defence of the Portuguese Republic, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Spain, the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden represented by the Minister for Defence, the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey, the Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

covering the participation of the Republic of Poland

Preamble

The Participants to the EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding, on the one hand, and the Government of the Republic of Poland represented by the Minister of National Defence, on the other hand,

having regard to:

– Section XI "Admission of New Members” of the EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding signed in Brussels on 15 May 2001;

– the firm interest expressed by Poland to participate in R&T co-operation under the EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding;

have reached the following understandings:

Section I

1. After signature of this Amendment, the Republic of Poland becomes a Participant in the EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding.

2. The EUROPA Memorandum of Understanding is amended as follows on the cover page and in the preamble, first paragraph: insert "the Government of the Republic of Poland represented by the Minister of National Defence” after "the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway”.

Section II

1. This Amendment will come into effect from the date of the last signature below. It will remain in effect for the same period as the MOU which it amends. Unless specifically amended herein, all other provisions of the MOU remain unchanged.

2. This Amendment is signed in two copies (English and French), each text being equally valid. The original texts will be retained by the WEAO Research Cell and a certified true copy will be sent to all Participants.
