| Wysokie Układające się Strony, w przypadku, gdyby ich ustawodawstwo nie przewidywało już tego, zobowiązują się zmienić swoje ustawy na wszystkich obszarach poddanych ich zwierzchnictwu lub władzy i do których stosuje się niniejszą konwencja, w ten sposób, że ważność zobowiązań, zaciągniętych w przedmiocie czeków, lub wykonywanie praw, z czeków wynikających, nie może być uzależnione od zachowania przepisów o opłatach stemplowych. | Dans le cas où telle ne serait pas déjà leur législation, les Hautes Parties contractantes, s’engagent à modifier leurs lois dans tous les territoires placés sous leur souveraineté ou autorité et auxquels la présente Convention est applicable, de telle sorte que la validité des engagements pris en matière de chèques, ou l’exercice des droits qui en découlent, ne puissent être subordonnés à l’observation des dispositions sur le timbre. | If their laws do not already make provision to this effect, the High Contracting Parties undertake to alter their laws in all the territories placed under their sovereignty or authority to which the present Convention is applicable, so that the validity of obligations arising out of a cheque or the exercise of the rights that flow therefrom shall not be subordinated to the observance of the provisions concerning the stamp. |

| Jeżeli w dniu 1 listopada 1933 warunki przewidziane w artykule 5 ustęp 1 co do wejścia w życie konwencji, nie zostaną spełnione, Sekretarz Generalny Ligi Narodów zwoła zebranie Członków Ligi Narodów i Państw, nie będących Członkami Ligi Narodów, w imieniu których konwencja została podpisana, lub w imieniu których dokonane zostało przystąpienie do niej. | Si, à la date du 1-er novembre 1933, les conditions prévues à l’article 5, alinéa premier, pour l’entrée en vigueur de la Convention ne sont pas remplies, le Secrétaire général de la Société des Nations convoquera une réunion des Membres de la Société des Nations et des Etats non membres au nom desquels la Convention aura été signée ou au nom desquels il y aura été adhéré. | If, on November 1st, 1933, the conditions laid down in Article 5, paragraph I, for the entry into force of the Convention are not fulfilled, the Secretary-General of the League of Nations shall convene a meeting of the Members of the League and the non-member States on whose behalf the Convention has been signed or acceded to. |
